Something Was Missing

The owners of this Garrison Woods house wanted a place to enjoy more of the great outdoors, year-round. As a dual-parent household with young children, backyard space was incredibly important but lacking in their inner-city home. They came to us looking to create a place to retreat. High on the list of priorities was maximizing the usable square footage with a ‘3-season’ outdoor space.

What They Wanted

When this family came to us with their preliminary plans, we couldn’t wait to start the project. The requirements included a connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. They also wanted a relaxing built-in hot tub without making it the focal point of the area. The goal was to create something for family members, friends, and guests to enjoy at any time.

The Masterpiece

Our team delivered in every way possible. We added fire features, including a brick herringbone fireplace and fire table to enhance the aesthetic and act as sufficient heat sources during cooler months. We created the connection between their interior living room and outdoor living space with large glass sliding patio doors and maximized the area of their somewhat small inner-city backyard. The overall result is an entertainment space where the family can make memories for years to come.
