My wife and I were first introduced to the superb design and workmanship of Ultimate Renovations 20 years ago (2004) when they renovated our award-winning bungalow. It was a 4-month tear down and rebuild project and completed on time and on budget. To date the project has stood the test of time for quality and appearance. In the last two decades, we have hired Ultimate 4 more times for major projects including converting the inclosed basement to a walkout, two upgraded bathrooms, a complete rebuild of a lower laundry room and a most enjoyable 400 sq. foot outdoor living space with TV, BB-Q, cooktop, wood burning fireplace and overhead gas heater. Can my renovation happen at any time?

Yes! At Ultimate, we work year-round. Exterior renovations can be completed at any time of the year.

What is the best type of siding?

There are several types of siding to choose from, but we typically recommend stucco or CanExel, an exceptionally durable, pre-finished siding made from wood fibre and resin.

What is the best type of roofing?

Asphalt shingles are popular for their affordability and durability. Wooden shingles are also quite durable but more expensive. Solar panels are the most energy-efficient roofing option and are exceptionally effective in Alberta where we have some of the highest solar potential in the world.

While emergency roof repairs and siding repairs can be performed during the winter, we recommend getting started with an exterior facelift in the early spring. Though unexpected weather conditions can delay a project for a day or two, we ensure your home is protected from the elements during that time, and we do our best to stick to and adjust timelines accordingly. Because we have an eye for detail, our work is not driven by functionality alone — aesthetics always plays a significant role in every project we complete.
